Schuyler’s 20th Annual Corn on the Cob Eating Competition and Car Show 2018

Besides hosting one of the most popular car shows in the area, this event also offers a variety of activities such as a petting zoo, bounce houses, face painting, hula hoop contest, vendors, live entertainment, great food, wine slushies, a beer tent, and a huge firework display at dusk.

The Corn Eating Contest is a 90 second contest, in which the amount of corn one eats is weighed and the winner is awarded $1,000. To qualify, one must eat as much corn as possible within a 60 second period and be ranked. The final top 5 eaters compete for $1,000.

The car show is open to the public, and People’s Choice awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners. 1st place winner takes home $100.00!! Parking for the cars will be on the grass.

This event is open to the public, includes free parking, free admission, and reasonably priced food. We only do it one night per summer, but it is worth the weight!!
